CORNING — Eighth-seeded Harrisburg defeated fifth-seeded Piggott 73-59 in Monday’s 3A-3 boys’ district tournament action. The Hornets jumped out to a 15-12 lead after the first quarter, then pulled ahead for a 33-25 lead at halftime. At the end of the third quarter Harrisburg led 53-40.
